42 boutique condominiums are expected to be delivered in 2016
Washington, DC – April 22, 2014 – The Neighborhood Development Company (NDC) announces the commencement of construction on three condominium projects in the Petworth and Park View neighborhoods of Washington, DC. These condominiums are expected to be delivered to the market in late spring of 2016.
4326 Georgia Avenue NW in Petworth will be developed into a 9-unit ground-up condominium building consisting of one, two, and three-bedroom units. These bright and airy units are influenced by modern and industrial design trends, with wide-planked flooring, bright white cabinets, and subway tile.
4308 Georgia Avenue NW in Petworth will be developed into a 20-unit ground-up building with mixed floorplans of studios to two-bedroom units. The units will contain contrasting dark cabinetry and gray-toned wood flooring, evoking a rich and warm design approach.
3542 Warder Street NW in Park View, will be a three-story structure with 13 units, comprising of a mix of two and three-bedroom floor plans. This location offers an urban rustic aesthetic with a perfect balance of old and new to highlight the historic qualities of the neighborhood. Situated on a residential street atop of one of the city’s most understated streets, the building’s top floor units and expansive roofdeck will offer panorama views of the city. The units will feature distressed wood flooring, sleek quartz countertops, and subtle touches of aged brick with reclaimed wood beams.
In order to bring these projects to fruition, Neighborhood Development Company has partnered with a variety of local businesses to include Rich Marcus Architects(4308 Georgia Ave. and 3542 Warder St.), Emotive Architecture (4326 Georgia Ave.), Studio I.D. for interior design, Eagle Bank (3542 Warder St.), Monument Bank (4236 Georgia Ave.), the Bank of Georgetown (4308 Georgia Ave.), and NDC Builders LLC, who will serve as the General Contractor for all three properties.
