Park View Recreation Center Field House

The Neighborhood Development Company will be renovating the Park View Recreation Center as an amenity for Ward 1 as part of a recent PUD zoning approval process. The Field House, which was built approximately 50 years ago, was the original recreation center for Park View Community prior to the construction of the larger more recent Park View Recreation Center. It was vacant for nearly a decade until the non-profit Park View Kids Zone cleaned out its contents, occupied the building and began to used the building for its programs. NDC plans to renovate the exterior and interior to provide a safe and decent space for the community to use for an after school program, music and arts center and training facility.
